I've stayed here for a total of 8 nights. I do quite a bit of travel for business and leisure purposes, and have been to many, many 5* and 4* properties. The Grand Hotel Acores Atlantico may actually be the best one I've been to yet. Their focus on customer service and overall guest experience is unrivaled. The staff (reception, doormen, housekeeping, breakfast restaurant) were lovely and highly professional in all aspects and across all of my interactions. Make sure to get an ocean view room and make use of the valet parking service.

Central location, with excellent access to town and the water

Spa was closed, but I paid nearly $400/n for the hotel. They need to either discount or provide a voucher if that’s the case. The rooms were also slightly run down for how much they cost and the fact that it’s a 5 star hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here very very much, was amazing overall, very comfortable, and amazing view from our balcony. The breakfast buffet was exquisite 👌

There was a loud ringing noise in our room by the light switch by the door, but other than that, the room was perfect.

Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend – von hilfreichen Ausflugstipps bis hin zu Restaurantreservierungen am Abend. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist sehr angenehm und lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und lässt keine Wünsche offen, insgesamt ist das Essen sehr lecker. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der Parkservice, der sich absolut lohnt – inkl. liebevoller Extras wie aufgefülltem Wasser im Auto. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt vollkommen. Die Lage direkt am Hafen mit Blick aufs Meer und fußläufiger Nähe zur Altstadt ist ideal. Für uns war Ponta Delgada der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!“
