"Lovely hotel if you want a quiet retreat"

Large room, beautiful main pool and beach. It was also very nice and quiet without a lot of people. The hotel itself is beautiful and staff are very attentive. We came here for part of our honeymoon and I would recommend it for couples who don't really want a buzz and only want relaxation and early nights.

We had a room with a pool and the pool water is not filtered and so it attracts alot of mosquitoes outside in and around the stagnant water. As the shower and toilet are outside without a door or windows, this meant we got eaten alive in the bathroom. The staff tried their very best to control this with insect repellent and smokey incense but we still got covered in bites. The food in the restaurant was nice but quite expensive for what it was. The breakfast has options but not as many and other hotels we've been to. There was no evening entertainment or a "buzz" in the hotel either in the day time or evening which I did miss. Similarly there is not much within walking distance of the hotel so we had to get taxis everywhere or stay at our villa.
