The Lamai Samui

Great pool area , but understaffed.

Needs more staff on , not that resort feel . Staff were run off there feet at pool bar only one staff at on at any time . They were great but needed more staff all around resort . But staff that were on did an amazing job and should be rewarded so great at their job . Very quiet resort , and renovation going in at pool area they did not mention that . Cashless resort , so can we not bill to room .

Room was good. Staff were lovely. Location is very nice. They were no fuss at all and I would stay here again.

Bathroom outside in the open was a bit odd. Luckily I'm not shy. The food from the restaurant was a bit pricey and wasn't really worth it, but it was a convenient option if you didnt feel like going down the road.

The property is tropical and beautiful, it really feels like paradise. The grounds staff are always maintaining the grounds and the rooms and facilities are clean and well equipped.

Tout était parfait du début à la fin. L'hôtel est juste exceptionnel dans son intégralité. Le personnel aux petits soins sans arrêt.

La nourriture était moyenne ; je n'ai pas vraiment trouvé des plats qui m'ont plus. La partie restauration doit-être améliorée. Il manque des activités nautiques.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern . Tolle Lage ein besonders Dankeschön für ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit direktem poolzugang was wirklich toll war. Frühstück war auch sehr gut abwechslungsreich. Einziger Kritikpunkt wie von vielen hier angemerkt die Kaffeeversorgung beim Frühstück. Wäre eigentlich sehr einfach zu beheben weil doch sehr oft kritisiert. Ingesamt ein tolles und empfehlenswertes Hotel. In einem wunderschön gepflegten Garten. Leider im Moment mit störender Baustelle aber die ist Ja irgendwann Geschichte. Danke für einen entspannten und sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

We inadvertently ended up staying at the Lamai given that the original hotel that we’d booked was so bad we had to move quickly. But, we lucked out with the Lamai. The staff, management, quality and cleanliness were exemplary. Sure, there’s some construction work going on currently but it’s easy to dial out of that. We couldn’t have been looked after any better. The hotel is at the far end of a 2-mile stretch of beach (at the best end of it), which is calm and relaxing. Wake up around 6, go and watch the sunrise from the beach, have a walk, go back for breakfast and then relax by the pool. Again, I can’t praise the staff enough for their kindness, consideration and attentiveness. It’s a place that, well, meets your expectations.
