How nice the place was

We were all settled in ready for sleep when a party broke out right next door. We requested we be moved, the night desk associate,(Janay), accommodated us! Thank you Janay, employee of the month, Marriott!

Layla at the front desk was very professional.

Who was the person who thought it was a good idea to put a basketball court on this property? I can hear (on the fourth floor) the bouncing basketball and kids screaming. The walls are paper thin and can distinctly hear the people in the next room. The photos online are much nicer than actual room. Black kitchen cabinets and dark carpet. I expect better from a Marriott property. Will never stay here again, and will definitely look for a different corporate-owned hotel next time, and we’ve been Marriott reward members for nearly 20 years. Extremely disappointed.

Overall, this was a very good stay. The staff was friendly and honored a request for additional blankets and pillows within minutes. The pool was clean and a good temperature. The hot tub was clean and hot, but the jets would not turn on. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was not the most comfortable. When we arrived in the room the AC was on and it was cold, so I turned up the thermostat a degree just to cycle off the AC. Later in the night, despite turning the thermostat back down a couple degrees, it never felt that the AC cycled back on, so it got a bit warm for my comfort. Of note, there is a Mexican restaurant across the street, Jalapeños. It was delicious and great service.

Very clean and well worth the cost.

Plenty of parking. General Manager Gilbert was the most professional and helpful individual I have had the pleasure to deal with in long time. All employees were courteous and hard working. Complimentary breakfast was above average and piping hot coffee was excellent.
