WeStay Suites - Covington/Mandeville

My room smelled like mildew so bad I left for another hotel after the second night. The rug was peeling off the floor and the furniture looked like it was taken off the curb. Sketchy people also live in this hotel. Trash in the hallways. No staff. Worst hotel experience ever, avoid at all costs.

Very clean

We had the two bedroom two bath suite. The only issue we have is that the king size bed bedroom door is like French doors and you can see between them. They are solid doors and I don’t know the correct name for them. Because there are two they do not close together completely and you can see through the large crack. We have stayed here before and rooms 202 and 402 have this same issue. We hang a bath towel from the top and put our suitcase in front of that to cover the bottom part. It works but it’s a pain! The beds are always comfortable!

Only thing I noticed was that a lot of the outside lights weren’t working, as a female traveling alone it’s a concern.

The night guy was friendly and got us into a room quickly

The only nice thing at this place was the manager Emily and the housekeeper on second floor very polite saying hi everyone.

People smoking at the entrance of the hotel while elderly and kids waking in, that should definitely not be allowed. The waterfall was never on at the pool. The grill area dirty. The gym smells like mildew, the elevator smelled like weed, our room had small little roaches and the tub had a brown ring aroundnit looking dirty. This is the first hotel that when I asked for pillows and covers for the pull out couch they said they ran out. The pull out couch not comfortable all you feel is the wires on it.

Saw a couple of roaches but other than that it was good. I informed the desk clerk.

It smelled like weed

The weed smell..having to take out trash and couldn't get extra towels until we brought the dirty ones to them..I shouldn't have to have done all that..I don't work there
