A little too far to walk into town when it is chilly, but still a great location.

USThis small family run resort was exemplary in all fronts. It was in the most upscale part of town and yet inexpensive for what it offered. The staff was attentive despite a wedding (at least one). The room exceeded my expectations- not very large but very nicely organized, clean and comfortable. There was attention to details, like great coffee, quality milk pods instead of granulated creamer, Turkish towels etc, etc. We had views of the Bay, which we were so happy about. But it was the breakfast that blew our minds. This was reminiscent of the top notch restaurants of Europe that want to wow their customers with their extravagant spread. There were too many great choices to eat them all despite my appetite. There was smoked salmon slices, avocado mash if you did not prefer butter or cream cheese, overnight soaked oats with high quality chocolate chips and what felt like crunchy nuts, two varieties of egg and all premium ingredients that could go with it down to fresh green organic arugula to garnish your eggs and bacon plate with! Whoever serves breakfast like that which is included in their price. I have never experienced a stay this good on this side of the Atlantic. This was so much value than I had experienced anywhere in the US.

GBBreakfast was super. Lots of bowls of fresh fruit, yoghurt, different pastries each day and various cooked options. Sourdough bread to toast was delicious. Could have done with some slices of cheese and fresh rolls or bread to cut.
There wasn't a dining room so we ate in the bar but which was very small but the food was delicious.
USThe whole time we were there is felt really nice and I would go back there again. The breakfast was incredible. The rooms were very clean and fit the needs that me and my wife had. Amazing 10/10 can't wait to go back.

GBBeautiful setting and decor, great location and lovely breakfast. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the service in the restaurant and the bar was fantastic.
The bed was a little small and bounced every time one of us turned over, but otherwise everything was just lovely.
