Location and cleanliness

Few basis amenities were not good like water flow in sower is low , flush not working properly , sleepers not provided, staffs not available at time of check out

Excellent location . Beautiful large rooms looking out to the sea .

The service can improve a bit

The view is the only good thing about Sinclairs Bayview. Everything else is either terrible or mediocre at best.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Terrible service, unhelpful and unprofessional staff. The Quadruple room was ridiculous. How can you advertise a room for four adults and NOT HAVE A DOOR FOR THE BATHROOM? Everything was falling apart in this hotel. It smells horrible and has clearly not been maintained for years. Water bottles are delivered to the rooms in plastic buckets. There are cleaning supplies, dirty laundry, and dirty plates and cups lying randomly in the corridors at any time of the day. The breakfast buffet was terrible and the dinner buffet was strictly average. The cherry on this sh*t cake was that after checking out, the receptionist texted me on Whatsapp saying there had been a miscalculation in the bill and I owed another 150 rupees. She begged and pleaded that if I didn't pay this amount, it would come out of her paycheck. When I asked for a detailed bill, I got a random screenshot with someone else's name added with no explanation. However, they conveniently forgot to give me change for the extra 400 I had paid while checking in. Once reminded of this, she quickly backed off.

The room was very spacious and the view of the sea and the gardens below was very beautiful. The bathroom was nice and clean. The gardens below were very well maintained with spectacular views. Staff were friendly. Room service was prompt. The new years eve party was well organized. Clearly they had put in a significant amount of effort. But time management was terrible. The live counters had amazing kababs but we waited till 10:30 pm for dinner, then left without food as we had an early flight the next day.

1. Pigeons everywhere which made my stay really horrible. 2. The facility is old and not renovated. Because of the pigeons, the surroundings were dirty. 3. Food was mediocre at best. Breakfast did have many options. 4. They charged high rates but definitely not worth that much money. 5. After leaving Port Blair, got contacted twice regarding issues with payment at their end. However, these were addressed promptly by the hotel.

Amazing location and amazing property with plenty of space to sit at deck and enjoy the breeze and sun.

Hotel Managers , F&B Managers and staff are very kind and professional about their Job. Very friendly staff and always eager to help you. Guest may feel it's another home for them. Stayed there for short duration , however, willing to visit many more times. Special mention to Managers Sandeep , Aakash and Pankaj being very friendly and above par service . Breakfast and dinner was really tasty . View can't be described in words , as it was so amazing that finding correct words can be less. Opening the window curtains gives you a view of lifetime.

Nothing I can think of , wondering why reviews are just above average on this site. For me its 10/10.
