The staff late at night were incredible!! Very friendly and accommodating.

It's definitely a Motel 6 facility.

The room itself was a cute idea with the jetted/jacuzzi tub but still having a separate shower and couch a table with 2 chairs and a king size bed and balcony on corner looking at the bridge. This particular room was in a great location of the motel. It did smell fresh, but my husband said he thought smelled a hint of ant spray but wasn't sure. So maybe it could have been his subconscious. LOL😂🤣 If he didn't, they probably should have used some. Staff was nice. We do like the place for the location and there is usually parking available. The beach as usual was beautiful

We walked into the room and immediately realized we were not the only guests—apparently the ants had booked the room ahead of us and had already checked in. My husband tried to take out the ones we could see, but every time he got one, three more came out of the cracks around the sink like they were clocking in for their shift. Then we spotted the ones near the jetted tub, crawling up the side like they were headed to their own private hot‑tub party. They were even on the washcloth on the counter, probably freshening up before dinner. At that point, we decided we were not spending our anniversary playing “Whack‑an‑Ant,” while they were deciding whether they were going to eat in or out with the food we had brought nor were we interested in seeing whether they’d offer ant spray as a romantic anniversary scent. The clerk was kind and refunded us, but even after I showed her the photos, she still had to "double check.” Personally, if someone showed me pictures of an ant convention happening in a guest room, I wouldn’t have asked anyone. This was a textbook “better to ask forgiveness than permission” moment. This was our second or third attempt at giving this place another chance, and apparently the third time is not the charm. The jetted tub sounded great in theory, but even the jets looked like they needed a deep cleanse and maybe a prayer. The whole property feels like it’s overdue for a full renovation. Even the deck railings looked like they just slapped paint over rust and hoped for the best. We were worried we’d have to drive 2.5 hours back home on our anniversary, but we refused to let the Ant Resort & Spa ruin our night. We found another place for just $50 more, and shockingly… no ants! Not a single one. It was clean, comfortable, and did not come with a complimentary insect tour. We won’t be recommending this place until they renovate—and maybe hire an exterminator with superhero-level skills.
