Nipa Resort

The hotel is in a brilliant location, everything you could need is within a short walking distance. It is well presented throughout, rooms are spacious and cleaned to a fair standard. We especially appreciated complimentary bottled water each day, not all hotels offer this. There is lots of beautiful greenery around the hotel, but it does not block the unfortunate view of an abandoned construction site. Pool is larger than we expected, and has great water features. All staff have been friendly and helpful. Note that the spa is only accessible alongside a treatment purchase - which are priced quite a bit higher than what you would get anywhere streetside. Also, there is no pool in the spa. Signage says cannabis is prohibited, but this is not enforced. The hotel does have a strong smell throughout, and many guests opt to smoke poolside, which may be off putting to some families.

The hotel is in a very central location, with plenty to do within walking distance. It is clean and well presented throughout, the rooms are a good size and are well maintained too. The hotel has a no marijuana policy, however it is not enforced, and the hotel does have a very strong smell throughout which may be off putting to some.

Stafff great Noi the staff was particularly very helpful and very kind Very clearn, great location- not on the beach but not far too, Swimming Pool clean but with lots of rules to follow by Bus trips twice to take you to the beach for free- which great. Beach and swimming towels provided Second day a small body lotion was given not on our first night. Maybe they forgot Hairdryer- this standard in all Far Eastern countries Tea, coffee and two bottles of water provided Hotel needs a deposit upfront which the Booking.com doesn’t mention at all. Breakfast normally to other hotels in Far East Asia Water provided to drink in the lobby, spacious, great resting place if you’re wanting for departure. Toilets are very clean in rooms but lobby

We had an exceptional stay at Nipa (room 2204/2205/2208) There is not a single thing that we would change! The pool is absolutely amazing and looks stunning all day and all night. The room was spotless on arrival and was everything we could have hoped for! The beds are massive & the rooms are quite soundproof so sleeping was easy! We had several people in our group with allergies and the chefs were CONSTANTLY adapting to our needs and helping in whatever way they could (even made dishes vegan for me to eat!) They were so amazing and friendly and they made things so easy for us! Duan and Yui, shout out to you both for having such amazing personalities and being so friendly and kind - we appreciated it so much and loved seeing your faces everywhere! Billie at the bar is also such a delight and a highlight of everyone’s days. Aoy/Oi in housekeeping looked after us so so well and kept us hydrated with extra water when we needed it & always left our rooms feeling so homey! There is not a single member of staff that isn’t friendly - they all welcome you as their own! We genuinely could not recommend this place more - we loved our stay and want to come back soon!

Some staff were friendly and helpful. However, I’d like to raise one important issue for future guests and the hotel to consider: We booked through Booking.com and clearly entered “2 adults + 1 child aged 12” with breakfast included. The system confirmed the booking with a total price, and there was no warning or notice of any additional charges for the child. Upon check-in, the hotel informed us that a 12-year-old is considered an adult and charged an extra THB 1,500 per night, which was unexpected and not transparent during booking. We understand each hotel may have its own policy, but guests should be clearly informed in advance — and the booking system should reflect the actual price based on the provided information. Suggestion: The hotel should make its child policy more visible during booking and ensure that platforms like Booking.com show all applicable charges upfront.

Lovely hotel , very clean ,stuff are wonderful. Not to far from main town. Food is delicious and not to expensive Bar stuff are amazing specially billie Definitely recommend and would 100% come again.

The room was very spacious & lovely. Plenty of space for things. Very close to Patong hospital & ambulance noise.

Comfy hotel and clean. The shampoo smells so good! I swear! And this one guy named Noi is so sweet and very hospitable and very helpful. Give him a huge tip when you see him!
