Avani Quy Nhon Resort

Very quiet and incredibly friendly staff.

1) Beach : very private and clean. I hardly met other guests on the beach during my stay. So calm and good. 2) Room : clean. 3) Breakfast : not many variety, but every single dish was good.

1) Beach : But water is very deep and it is very close to open sea, so when you take a few steps from the shore, your feet may not touch the land when waves come. I'm a 175 tall male and when waves came, waist-deep water became nose-deep water for several seconds. It could be dangerous for young children. 2) Room : even the biggest room has just one toilet. Basically the size of room is a bit small for the accommodation cost. 3) Business policy : during my stay, there was a workshop of local company. They occufied the restaurant so i was forced to dine in room for lunch and dinner. Even worse, they were singing in the evening with Karaoke machine. My tranquility broke up. Management did not control it at all. 4) Location : it is very far from downtown. It took about 500K VND to go to downtown by grab and not many grab car was available. You can not dine in the same resort restaurant longer than 2 days so you need to go out for different menu.

That there were very few other guests. That they watered the plants on the beach and property - was rather nice. The staff were definitely trying their hardest. The included breakfast buffet was great - lots of options and great green juice to boot.

Our room despite being rather nice in terms of size and view of the beach from both the bed and the shower - it smelled faintly of mould and the pendant bamboo lights had not been dusted for a very long time. The pool was beautiful but was boiling hot for some reason?! Did they heat it?? Crazy. The worst thing though was the wine - we tried a few but clearly at some point they had not been stored properly. The whites we paid a lot for all tasted off. Despite asking reception for the manager - he/she did not catch up with us on our short stay and it certainly wasn’t the fault of the waiting staff…so we tried changing to spicy ginger mojito which was ok, pina colada which was awful, even when I’m another I monitored the making of it - gin and tonic, - can’t imagine why none of it tasted right? Hopefully they can remedy this for future guests.

The beach was absolutely stunning - and it felt like we had it to ourselves. Our room, with ocean views was beautiful. Attention from staff first rate. Tai, Bar Captain was very engaging - telling us colorful stories about the history of the cocktails we were enjoying. A dream few days staying just out of the busy beach area of Quy Nhon. Exceptional!

The Avani is a secluded gem. The setting is beautiful. You have access to a pool area and a private beach. The staff are gracious as can be. The yoga in the morning is a welcome way to start the day. Highly recommended.

Liked the location. Loved the beach but unfortunately couldn’t swim in the sea due to a rip. Really liked the meals (but they were pricey) - lovely breakfast, lunch & dinners. Great iced chocolates! Enjoyed the yoga each morning. Great shower that had a view of the beach!! Very pleasant staff.

We were really confined to the resort for all our meals as there are not any other restaurants around. Not close to anything. Would need to travel by car to get anywhere else. Made it a rather expensive stay.

Lovely staff at the hotel. Ocean view room was lovely. Staff were very attentive. Menu options and breakfast was a little limited but good you can have use of the antara at the side to sue their facilities.
