Gelukkig betere kamer gekregen. Sommige kamers vallen tegen. Achterstallig onderhoud in het resort. Sommige tegels ontbreken in het zwembad, letsel gevaar. Gammele houten vloerplanken.

The room was very nice and spacious. Happy hours good. Great to watch the sunset on the beach with discount drinks! Plenty of sun lounges. There are many good restaurants to the left on the beach. 2 good pools.

There are 2 showers, one outside and cold, one over a bath and the shower head is chest height. A bit of a walk to the main road, a shuttle would be nice! Very hard to swim in the ocean due to shallowness. Most massage places around the Main Street had no one sitting outside of them.

Obwohl man eine karte hatte mit „my green day“ die man vor die tür hängen konnte und somit einen gratis drink bekam, hatten sie dass mit den dusch- und pooltüchern nicht im griff! Entweder man hatte zuviele oder gar keine!

We booked a beach villa for six people (Room 239), but upon arrival it was obvious that the villa only accommodates a maximum of four. After lengthy discussions, we were unexpectedly given an additional villa at no extra cost, which at least solved the sleeping situation. Unfortunately, the hotel is in very poor condition. Wood is rotting, fabrics are torn and worn, and during my twelve trips to Thailand I have never experienced so many insect bites. We had ants and mosquitoes in our room, and there was often a strong sewage smell coming from the toilets. We also found cigarette butts in the shower. We tried several times to book spa treatments, but the appointment times were constantly changed, so it never happened. Breakfast was of very low quality and lacked flavor, and the restaurant food was a complete disaster. The bar service was unacceptable. The bar staff, especially the young, slim guy, was bad at making drinks, careless when serving them, and rarely even said hello. During our ten-day stay, it felt like almost no staff greeted us at all. We repeatedly requested a refund in order to change hotels, but this was refused, forcing us to book another hotel just to be able to shower properly and get some sleep. In our opinion, the hotel should have allowed us to check out immediately when it was clear that the accommodation did not match what we had booked. Positive notes: The hotel is located directly on the beach, and there are several restaurants within a 10–15 minute walk. The massage was excellent — 600 baht for one hour and worth every baht. The reception manager was polite and professional, even though no refund was given. I sincerely hope that Centara head office reviews our case and refunds our money. This stay was not worth a single baht, and I would neither return to nor recommend this hotel to anyone!
