The Bannister Hotel is an amazing place. Every time I come to the Dominican Republic, I choose this amazing and beautiful hotel. Not only is it a fantastic place, but they also have the most accommodating staff with amazing and personable personalities. I wish I could remember all the lovely people's names but to names that stand out are Elena and Alexandro. It is very rare to find people like these two. Not only were they extremely nice and helpful, but they also recommended different sites to make my stay even nicer. The Bannister Hotel is the first hotel that made my stay outside my own city feel like home.

"This is a great marina with hotel with gigantic rooms good food looking out over the ocean with fresh clean air."

The people who worked here were super nice and learning well how to run a professional touristical hotel and marina amidst a developing country. They made it a great experience. The room was humongous…maybe not as much hot water pressure as i would have liked and i would have liked it to get a bit more cold in the room, but the price was excellent and the internet worked really well and my night here was a wonderful respite. Thank you—the food in the Domican themed restaurant was wonderful.

Great place to stay in Samana. It’s next to the marina. The humpback whale watching is great January-March.

the tennis courts are not maintained( we came especially for this. the staff were nice. the view to ocean is amazing. the room is very clean and comfortable
