Staybridge Suites Tucson Airport by IHG

The check-in process was disappointing. I arrived at 4:30 pm, well after the 3:00 pm check-in time, and was informed that they needed to verify whether my room was ready. After waiting for 10 minutes, I had to follow up for an update. The front desk staff casually informed me that they were still checking the room. When I inquired whether the room was simply being checked or actively cleaned, she revealed that the cleaning had just begun. Given that my 1- and 5-year-old children were still waiting in the car outside, I requested an alternative room. After some hesitation, she reluctantly found another room and handed me the keys. Throughout the interaction, there was no apology or acknowledgment of my IHG status, which left me feeling undervalued as a guest. On a positive note, the rooms are well-maintained and appear to be new. The hotel's proximity to the airport is convenient, and the breakfast spread was impressive.

The hotel was poorly stocked (no coffee, ran out of breakfast, ran out of plates, no drinks at breakfast or cups, no hand soap or basic necessities that are generally stocked). Our toilet was broken too. The manager was less than generous for discounts after receiving such poor accommodations.

Very clean property with a beautiful pool and patio area. The breakfast had a good variety of foods to choose from. The room was a good size and had a nice kitchenette. We stayed an extra night.

Room needed some upkeep and sprucing up. Backed up tub drain, leaky freezer into refrigerator, worn out mattress/boxspring, TV shuts off intermittently. Not a bad place to stay, just needs some TLC.
