Yering Gorge Cottages

Yering Gorge Cottages and the most beautiful land, as soon as you drive in the gates your surrounded by kangaroos. The cottage themselves are spacious, comfortable and warm for those winter nights.

Check-in was at the golf club, about 1km from the cottages. I came via uber and was disappointed there was no shuttle service or golf cart that could transfer you from the club house to the cottages. Luckily I had friends staying at the cottage who had to come pick me up from the club house.

The location was amazing - absolutely fabulous view. Great break from the hustle and bustle. Kangaroos everywhere. 10 out of 10

Nothing. It was the BEST

There was some confusion regarding the breakfast hamper. We only received a breakfast hamper for one of the mornings and not for the second morning of our stay. I was under the impression that we had paid for breakfast for both days we were staying at the cottage. The hamper we received was sufficient for one morning, but it would have been lovely to have had provisions for the second morning as well. It also would have been nice to have some fresh bread included as part of the hamper.

Yearing Gorge cottages never fail to dissapoinment! The facility is second to none- always exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable. Thank you for always making our stay memorable when visiting this beautiful location!

There is nothing I could fault.

What we loved most was the peaceful location and beautiful nature views. We saw lots of kangaroos around the property which made the stay extra special for our family. The cottage was clean, comfortable and relaxing, perfect for a short family getaway.

The stairs leading into the cottage, which were a little difficult for our elderly mum to manage.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times before, but this will be our last visit. The staff are very rude, and the value for money has decreased significantly. Breakfast is a joke — three dried-up, hotel-sized plastic containers, one week before expiration, generic white bread, and a bottle of expired (!) milk. The meat from the $50 BBQ hamper gave all of us food poisoning, which was rudely dismissed by the staff. We were charged anyway, even though I left the rest of the meat sealed in the fridge. The interior of cabin is dated for the price.

The venue was just stunning, nice little escape from the busy. Great views, nice to have indoor fire and take in the scenery. The continental breakfast was just right, and complimentary bottle of red was a nice touch.

The shower tap/pressure cut off, but venue is aware to get maintenance onto it.
