Eagle Inn Sumter

I was there in town for business. I ended up staying another night. The place was very clean and quiet, the staff was very nice. It was right on the outside of town. Nice and clean place.

not a pleasant one, the deoderant used to improve the room odors was almost sickining, the carpet was damp and looked to contain mold. the price was above average. won`t stay there again.

The room was well kept and clean. The hotel is on the older side but in all it was nice for the price. A place to stay was good. The service at front desk was friendly and serving.

My experience was good. The staff was friendly and helped answer questions about the area. The only thing that would have made the stay better is if there had been coffee available in the room or lobby.

Not professional at all! Made us wait a whole day for towels, room wasn't ready when we checked in . Horrible customer service !!!!' It was my last resort to chose so I settled for this crap, wouldn't recommend to anyone !!!

When I arrived for check in door was locked. Banged on door and rang bell for 30 minutes. Finally someone came, they must stay in the room next to office. When I checked in they wanted a credit card to pay for the room. I refused and told them I booked the room thru expedia, what a pain in the but to straighten out. Finally I got my room, moved in all our stuff and took a shower. We then were ready to meet the people we were seeing. As we were in our car the women from the front office came running down and said we would have to change rooms. We said the room was fine but she kept saying that people came in every week to rent that same room. She put us next to her room that the must use when not full. The room stunk of some kind of cooking crap, curry??? maybe. The staff ***** that about it!!
