Dewani Villa Resort

Pool is nice, location is pretty close to a lot of things (by bike). Staff was really warm and friendly. Quite liked the outdoor shower. Staff was very quick to make up our room each day. There are some nice cafes within a short walking distance.

The property is quite run down. It’s a relatively cheap place so wasn’t expecting too much but it was still below what I had hoped for considering other places in Bali. The rooms are not at all soundproof so was woken up every morning by staff talking outside or by construction noise, or other guests walking past our villa or having breakfast. The rooms were very basic. Face towels would have been nice and the towels were given had stains and were quite old.

The room was spacious and nice with king size bed and wooden furniture ... considering other places in Canggu the prices are good, also the location is very convenient

The property is old and has plumbing issues , the swimming pool is not maintained and overall the entire property looks like it is pretty old

room is so clean and huge. pool is also same. wonderful path in the resort. and also you can choose 3 types breakfast and it was good we loved it. so ıf you want to go to beach sides it takes 5-10 minutes with bike . we love get on bikes so its not a problem.

Beautiful traditional Balinese villa with gorgeous carved timber furniture, including a majestic 4 poster bed. Large, spacious room and bathroom, with a decent sized balcony. Clean, classy and comfortable. This was clearly a 5 star property when it was first built 20 years ago, but has slightly aged. (Nothing to complain about) Perfect for couples/honeymooners! Located in a built up area, but has a small rice field right next to it. Quiet neighbourhood at night. Around 17-20 minutes by car to Seminyak and Kuta (even though it's only 5 KMs). Around 45 minutes from Bali (Denpasar) Airport by car. I checked in late at night, receptionist (Mari) was very friendly and welcoming. Well known area, all tours and taxi/Grab drivers pick up from Kerobokan where the property is located. . 5 star accommodation at a 3 star price! I thoroughly recommend this place.

I loved the traditional feel and look of the place, excellent WiFi so that I could work online- zoom calls and all. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location isn’t anywhere trendy but I liked that it was a gem in and of itself. I spent at least 1 day just getting sun and lounging at the pool which was very peaceful. There is a good coffee shop and plenty of shops for food.

I stayed in a second floor unit which because of winds a lot of the thatch roof would fall to the floor so the floor was a bit dusty/dirty. I asked for a broom and swept it myself each day which was not a problem at all. It is a normal thing in these types of units and I didn’t mind. But maybe ask for the broom so you have it in hand.

Clean, quiet, and good value for Bali standards. Hot water was also good for Bali, but still can be get cold for back-to-back showers. The room was very spacious, and it looks like the photos. I've been to a loooooot of Bali properties, and this is hard to beat.

The facilities/maintenance is ok, but showing age. It would be nice to have fresh towels when requested. I stay 7 days with no fresh towels
