Yeats Country Hotel, Spa & Leisure Club

This was a nice hotel, staff were very friendly and service was great. Beautiful location, local area is lovely, great pubs and lovely walk along front. Bedrooms are large, spacious and we had a lovely view. The only complaint I had was the area around the pool and showers. They were extremely dirty and in need of a good deep clean, there is green slime/damp on tiled floors and walls, around windows etc and even steps into the pool. Could be a fab facility only it needs some improvements and updating. But even having said that I would go back and think it would be a great place for family holidays.

Good rooms and swimming pool. The hotel has an old world charm about it which is in character with Yeats country.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was utterly wonderful and the rooms are huge and comfortable; ours had a priceless sea view. There is a nice pool and supervised gym facilities However, the decor is now in need of updating ; this said, it was a lovely stay and our rooms were spacious and would certainly appeal to American standards.. We loved it.

Hotel room was a bit dated and dark but clean. Not enough towels or loo roll for a family for the two days. The Leisure centre was the biggest disappointment as the photos on the website made it look amazing, fresh and clean.....instead it was run down, mouldy, dirty and the facias peeling. Dirty on the pool floor, peeling seats in the steam room, black mould on the ceiling times, which then drop down into the pool via condensation. Mildew growing in the lockers and God knows what on the tiles in the shower. Beautiful location, could do so much more.

We had to wait an hour and a half after check in because our room wasn't ready! Hairdryer didn't work! Room was far too warm! There was an air vent outside our room rattling all night that sounded like a lorry! Cleaners kept walking into our room while we were getting changed, sleeping, in the shower etc! Not impressed.

A busy 3 star hotel. Breakfasts good as was bar food. Views outstanding when it wasn't raining! But it is the west coast of Ireland with the weather coming all the way across the Atlantic. Very adjacent to Sligo County Golf Club - a wonderful links course. Hotel in general getting a little tired, with the exception of the amazing Spa.

This is a lovely hotel for a relaxing break. Beautyful scenery nice walks and very friendly people.

Was a bit apprehensive when we landed outside hotel but have to say the room was huge and very nicely decorated. We had dinner in the hotel and it was just delicious. So tasty. Very friendly staff. Definitely going back again. Kids had a great time .
