impossible sleep well, acoustic like in opera house,It is audible like your neighbour behind a wall cleans a teeth in buthroom, and waik me up at 3 o'clock in the morning was wake up from sounds of Rembo shooting . Awful hotel. Could not sleep overnight. And the next day has been spoiled. Has rented the apartment for the same money in STN.

This hotel is not all that easy to find but we emailed them ahead of time and arranged for a car to meet us at the railway station. It was great to step off the high-speed train from Moscow and see someone holding up a sign with my name on it. A short ride up Nevsky Prospect and we were at the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Wi-fi worked fine in the room and the substantial breakfast provided enough choice to be quite satisfying.

The front desk girls are very helpful.The breakfast is decent enough. But the location is very good as it is just minutes away by walking to the hermatage and it is easy to go to other tourist attractions.

Good hotel, great location. If you do not mind walking little distances, you are in the middle of the historical part of town! My only issue with this hotel is absence of wi-fi in the room. Instead of enjoing internet in the room every time I had to go downstairs to the lobby.

We came on the 3 day free visa by boat from Tallinn and couldn't have ended up in a better location since the bus dropped us off at St. Isaac's and we were just a few blocks away. We walked everywhere. The hotel is your typcial European 3 star and was great value. The problem was the staff were not very helpful when it came to guiding us on how to go to the palaces. Since the 3 day visa is fairly new, the tourist infrastructure has caught up yet. I would have liked more information about how to get places.

Its a very good hotel, nice room, enough space, great location... its like a 15 min walk from the metro station, so it it a llittle bit far, but it has a great location close to the river and the hermitage so it is worth the walk, and to be fair most of the hotels are a little bit far from metro stations.... also there is a new metro station wich is now under construction and it is a lot closer...

Very conveniente location, thought a bit far (25 min walk) to the nearest Metro Station (Spasskaya ou Nevsky Prospect). With walking distance from major turistic points. Helpfull staff, good breakfast and very confortable beds.

A very nice small hotel located close to the Neva and just about a quarter mile from the Hermitage. The staff, who had varying degrees of proficiency with english, were friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was served in a pleasant room off the tiny lobby. Nothing fancy - hard-boiled eggs, good coffee, two cereal choices, toast, juice and a few hot dishes that I never sampled. I'd have to say the hotel was quite good for the price. I'd stay there again.

Very good location next to St. Isaacs catedral and very close to Winter Palace and Hermitage Museum. The walking to Nevsky prospekt is taking 20 minutes and it's a very nice sightseeing everytime from a different route. Most importantly the staff is very friendly and always helpful. The room was big enough for one person. There are 2 beds in all rooms and the bathrooms are extremely clean. The towels and bed covers were changed everyday. Only negatives are the entrance of the hotel which was still under construction and having no elevators... but walking up only 2 floors should not be a problem.
