The rooms are newly renovated. I've tried several budget hotels in the Tahoe area and this one is the best. There is a public beach within walking distance which is nice. The staff had always been friendly.

The property is well-maintained, though it can be somewhat noisy at times. Parking is limited, so it’s best to arrive early to secure a spot. This proper they had been updated and looked quite nice but There were black marks all over the floor that were sticky. Also there was a cockroach in the room. The pool looked really nice but we didn't have time to use it. There were a lot of motorcycle people staying there and so there was a lot of noise. It was convenient to a grocery store and dining.

The place is rather shabby and in need of repairs, paint etc.. No towel racks in the bathroom or hooks for anything. TV was difficult to figure out and lighting was poor. Very noisy being on the busy street. Staff was friendly enough.
