Lovely resort with beautiful views and beach. Enjoyed the restaurant. Wish there was a small snack/coffee/sandwich type shop like in many resorts. Bartenders at the restaurant and the tiki bar were very friendly but I can't say that for the rest of the staff. While no one was rude, they also didn't go out of their way to smile or speak. Check in was awkward....no directions to elevator, parking directions, wifi info, the typical details one receives at check in. No smiles or friendly banter. Overall I would stay there again. Maybe they were just tired after a month of spring breakers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Pensacola Beach Resort. The Wind Rose was great for breakfast and dinner, the pool bar was well run and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is big enough for a busy week. My wife said she would love to have a small group of friends come for a long weekend. The rooms were nice and the beds/pillows were comfortable. We walked a short distance to the main strip for dinner, you could pay for a golf cart to take you. We stayed on the top floor (7th) and at the end of the hall towards the pier 702 is gulf side, 701 is inland side. 718/719/720 was across/next from the ice machine so you are aware.
