Hotel Lakeside

Location is the only advantage.

It is an old property, more like an old house converted to a hotel. Probably good for young people travelling in a shoe string budget.

Die liegt sehr zentral. Die westliche Tempelgruppe ist fußäufig erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich. Auf der Dachterrasse bekommt man ein einfaches, gutes Frühstück für 300 Rupien. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

The location of the property is excellent

No staff, no proper facility, a very basic motel accommodation. They have scope to make the stay better but we found that the property owner has no interest in making it an experience stay

Very clean and nice peaceful property. Best for family stay.

Doesn’t have in-house kitchen or dining option so you have to step out for meals. But that’s ok. Overall good.

The location is perfect and the owners are very friendly and knowledgeable

My room had a balcony facing the lake across the street from the hotel. It was simply a gorgeous view. Prashant Triwari who runs the hotel invited me for Darjeeling tea and conversation shortly after my arrival. He gave me a tour and shared his plans for expanding his organic garden. It was such a pleasure to spend time with him. He also helped me book the necessary guide for the temples of Khajuraho. I only planned to stay for 2 days and it should have been 4.
