Courtyard Clemson

Not what I come to expect from a Marriot property. The toilet was broken and would constantly run if not for me taking the tank lid off and making adjustments. The boxspring under the mattress appears to be broken by the sunken in spot within the bed.

Clean and close to where I needed to be

Nice, clean room, good service. Easy to get in and out of. Very modern. the only drawback that I could find was that it was very sticky. By that I mean humid. I realize it is July in South Carolina, its supposed to be humid, but it seemed like it was worse in the room than it was outside. Might have just been an issue with that particular room, might have just been me. I would stay there again.

Overall the stay at the Courtyard Clemson was adequate. Vickie at the front desk was very friendly and made our stay enjoyable. While the outside of building is nice, once you walk inside you quickly can see this just an average Courtyard. My biggest issue was with the housekeeping service. Upon entering the room a bottle cap from a previous guest beer was on the floor, the conditioner in the shower was out, and when it was our day for housekeeping service we asked that she come back in 1 hour which she never did.

Television didn’t work right. Shower head almost unattached from wall. Upon entering the bath 4 long black hairs on floor. I have short gray hair and my spouse is bald.

We stayed at the Courtyard Clemson over Spring Break and had a great experience. From check-in to checkout, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy and enjoyable. They honored our request for connecting rooms without any issues, upgraded us to a nicer setup, and provided a late checkout with no hassle. Everything was smooth and stress-free, which made a big difference for our family trip. As a fun bonus, we even spotted the Savannah Bananas team in the lobby during our stay! Thank you to the entire team for the warm hospitality and for helping make our visit to Clemson so comfortable. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we're in town.
