Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Racine

Stay somewhere else - this place was a bottom tier hotel.

Bare minimum explanation of things, weren’t allowed to get more towels in the rooms nor extra blankets and pillows we had to go out and buy our own extra needs smelled like people were smoking inside building when location says smoke free

Decent budget hotel. The whole Racine area is sketchy at best. Every hotel I've stayed at has weird people at it. It is what it is. I have to go there for work on a project crew so I don't really have a choice but to go to Racine. You get what you pay for here, which is a basic room. The hotel staff is always very nice. I go back each week for work. The are updating many of the rooms but it doesn't bother the other guests.

Decent amenities here

There is a smell like bathroom spray in the lobby. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. We entered our room and it was well over 90 degrees. It didnt cool off to a reasonable temp until 3 am so we didnt get much sleep. The neighbors also were really loud both nights and were smoking weed our second night. So overall not a great experience but also not things necessarily in the hotels control. Also the toilet didnt flush properly. The shower was great tho. Got us through the weekend but probably wouldn't stay here again.

Someone was in the room we first got. Next room didn’t have soap or facial tissue.

First room we checked into had a sofa bed with a filthy mattress, dirt and waste paper/junk under it. The floor underneath obviously had not been cleaned for quite some time! Front desk came and agreed that we should have a different room. Second room's sofa bed had no mattress at all and no available bedding. Front desk offered to "find a mattress," and made bedding available for us, however it became obvious that with people checking in she was too busy to accommodate our immediate needs since we were on a tight schedule. We cancelled our reservation and went to another hotel.

I didn't exptect this picture of hotel and room indifferently. A few trashy near bed. A chair wasn't cleaned. T.vs aren't update of technology. .
