Location, historical room, romantic get away, friendly staff

Minor, sink clogged, fixed as soon as staff made aware

Property location is perfect. Close and walkable to everything. Lovely across from the green, lush Forsyth park.

Breakfasts were ok, often sweet but you could request something savory.

Perfect location overlooking park. Lovely eating breakfast on front porch. Service was good. We stayed in cottage to have 2 beds (one fold out couch). The cottage is pretty tired and needs a renovation. Bathroom is quite out dated, towel hook popped off and the furniture/rug is faded. One door jam was repaired with duct tape. Place just needs some TLC. Given the high cost I would stay elsewhere for now.

The Inn staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. After learning I can only drink decaf coffee, they went out of their way to make sure I had fresh hot decaf. The breakfast, happy hour and evening dessert all made us feel more cared for, and made us feel connected to the other guests. The location is fantastic - beautiful view of Forsyth Park and easy to walk around the historic district.

I wish we could have had a larger bed, but with the age of the inn, the rooms are smaller, and it wouldn't have worked. Just a small inconvenience.

Staff, porch, food and snacks

Room could be updated, a little dark

My 2 sisters and I spent 2 nights here and had a wonderful stay. This room is on the same level as the entrance and dining room, which is up a flight of stairs from the sidewalk. Our room was clean and was large enough to accommodate us with all of our bags and still have room to sit and relax. The staff was friendly (hi Dwayne!) and responsive to our needs (dietary accommodations, tissues for the room, restaurant recommendations, etc). The Inn itself is located at a DOT stop for free transportation through the historic district and is also walkable to museums, restaurants, and shops within a mile or less. We enjoyed happy hour sitting on the porch and watching people enjoy the park across the street. Street parking was crowded but we managed to find a spot within a block or 2 of the Inn the 2 times we used the car during our stay. I would stay here again.

Wonderful location — breakfast on the porch faces the gorgeous park. Excellent vibe and service in beautiful historic home. Comfy beds. Quiet neighborhood, though the room facing the mainstreet could be a bit noisy at night.
