Le cadre, l’ancienneté de la maison, le feu, la rivière, la chambre très spacieuse comme un appartement (celle du 1e dans le bâtiment principal)

Le dîner peu copieux (même pour une femme), le service des repas un peu expéditif, un établissement qui semble câblé pour les étrangers.

Underbart läge ute i naturen, autentiskt japanskt värdshus med onsen och fantastisk mat. Vänlig personal som förklarade allt på engelska. Otrolig upplevelse som rekommenderas starkt!

Sovrummet var varmt och skönt men då besöket var i november så var det lite småkallt i resten av byggnaden, kan vara bra att tänka på men inget problem om man har lite varmare kläder med sig.

This place made our honeymoon even more special. Everything was simply beautiful. When we arrived, we immediately decided to book another night — and we weren’t the only ones; another couple did the same, which really says it all. The atmosphere is so serene and comfortable, creating the perfect environment to relax and unwind. The Japanese dinners were delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Free shuttle buses were also perfect since you can use it 2 times a day to go and come back from Takayama centre.

Surrounded by wilderness and by a river. This place is breathtaking. The staff were out welcoming us from the moment we drove near the hotel. The fireplace at the reception area was great for cold weather and the welcome drink and sweets warm us. The villa was amazing with view of the river and the autumn foliage. We really appreciate the magic show by the old gentleman, he kept us company when it was raining heavily after our dinner with his magic show and warm sake. The food was great, however if you are a big eater, it might not be enough. The hotel was very nice to place a late night snack in our room in case we were hungry.

I love it because the location is totally out of the way. No tourist crowd and they kept the occupancy rate low to keep the place quiet and private. The dinner and breakdast was superb! They should deserve anothet michelin award this year. My spouse and I totally love it. We would opt for 2 nights the next time. The staff hospitality was another level. Yes it expensive. I can only say is what u pay is what you will get and in my opinion it worth every of my penny.
