"Good amenities without a personal touch"

The room was clean - the toilets were also clean with toiletries. They have jaguar fittings which work well. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good.

I found no personal touch in the hotel. Except one person leading me to the room - nothing was explained. The AC did not work for a long time. One light was constantly lit and even the maintainance people failed to find a switch. The bed was too large for the room and you have to struggle to walk around - the table was placed in a way which blocked the bathroom. I had to personally move it to go to the washroom. No one in the counter notified the time and venue for the complimentary breakfast !! What I am trying to say is a good hotel is characterised by a personal touch. That is really missing in this hotel. You cannot really take your guests for granted. Hope they take the feedback seriously and improve.

Varanadi is a religious place and abode of Lord Shiva. It is surprising that Jain food option is not available.
