Hotel Miramar

Very nice big hotel in Miraflores. It’s a little bit old, but still functions alright. It’s clearly a professional and well organized hotel, which is really nice to begin your trip with. The room was very spacious, which we liked a lot. The breakfast was incredible.

Our stay was pleasant. We found a great deal through Booking, with excellent value for money, including an upgrade to an Executive Suite. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

What we did not like was the poor internet connection. The Wi-Fi worked without any issues in the lobby, but in the room—where you would normally expect a reliable connection—it was only usable near the door and very weak by the bed along the wall. We were also a little disappointed with the breakfast-to-go option, which we requested because we had an early tour. Although breakfast was included in our rate, we were charged $3 per person, which was not a problem at all. Unfortunately, the breakfast box only contained a Toast sandwich and a small juice and a orange. Compared to breakfast boxes we have received in other hotels, it was quite basic and lacked variety.
