Grand Hotel Mattei

Great hotel… they even sent a taxi for us when taxis were very hard to get! Comfortable bed, good food and service.

Quiet and convenient to port

Promote location was kind of remote. But Taxis were easily accessible. Staff was friendly and efficient and the cleanliness of the property was inpressive

Due to location of hotel and lack of services in the area it would be nice if the hotel has a small shop for purchasing snacks, etc.

Lighting in bathroom needs to be brighter

The property was outdated and showed signs of wear. No TV in the first room of our suite. Service was good, but they seemed short of staff for the bar and restaurant.

The property and our junior suite was beautiful. The staff accommodated our off-schedule dining needs. Unfortunately, the property is far away from the center/attractions of Ravenna. The hotel concierge got us a taxi to the center of town BUT it was difficult finding one to return to the hotel.

Staff was very friendly. Morning breakfast was great

When we checked in the staff were very unfriendly and abrupt. One of our rooms stank of stale smoke and the air conditioning was terrible the other room was fine. In the evening the staff swapped and the reception staff were fantastic, very friendly.

Hotel was neither good nor bad, the problem that I had with it was that it was really from the city center.
