Costa Lanta - Adult Only

My girlfriend and I ended our Thailand vacation here for 2 days, we thought we would finish off with a nice relaxed few days at the beach after chiang mai, railay beach and krabi. We payed next to nothing being the low season, and ended up having almost the whole place to ourselves. We felt like royalty, the buildings are amazing, clean and natural feeling, you can't help feeling peaceful and calm with the open style concept, jungle and ocean in the background, left this place feeling fresh and rejuvinated. Would definatly stay here again.

The staff at Costa Lanta were delightful and professional at every moment, always willing to help us with our questions or attend to our needs. The room was simple yet innovative, and it was just what we needed, especially the beautiful mosquito cocoon that was built for us every night. We loved the location and the infinity pool was a real treat, just off from the beach, but more private than at the other resorts. We hardly eat in restaurants when in Thailand as we always prefer street food, but we indeed ate in the hotel restaurant by the water and the food was excellent. We also recommend their cocktail "Gin Gin" which was packed with ginger and fresh limes. I would absolutely stay at this resort again.

Loved loved loved Costa Lanta. The resort made our experience. So fun, classy and unique. Staff was great and friendly. They have an amazing pool, beach area, nice and secluded. Great for us on our honeymoon, would highly recommend to anyone, worth every penny to stay there.

We like the quiet location at the top of the beach. Rooms are very stark , cement and minimalist. They have a opening at the top of the bathroom for ventilation but the mosquitoes will find their way in, however they do have a mosquito net in the room . Not much closet space , so bring very little clothes, swimsuits and swimsuits. The grounds are large and you are not packed in like sardines . However they do not have many villas. The staff are very friendly , for some their English is limited but they try very hard. It is a really nice place and the beach they are located on is very beautiful with good clean calm water for swimming during this season.

Costa Lanta is one of the best places I've stayed. I needed a holiday where all I had to do was roll out of bed, have a few meals, lay by the pool/ocean and read books. Costa Lanta gives you all of that relaxation and more. The service was wonderful. The reception staff, the restaurant staff -- all super kind, attentive and genuine. The only real downside was the mattress... it could have been a little more comfortable. You won't regret staying here.

It was a perfect venue to get away for 4 Days! The beach is foot steps away from the resort and its beyond increadble; best top 3 beaches I've travelled to. The resort is tucked in the corner of the beach away from the loud music and crowds. Food it's very delicious and the rooms do not disappoint. The hotel staff are very helpful and speak English. The bikes available to the guests is also the perfect touch. The only compliant is we felt as though your nickled and dimed for everything; if you use the bikes for over 90 mins, it's extra $, if you want a second cup of juice at breakfast, there's a cost, mini bar charges are extremely high and same with having your clothing laundered. That's all. It was a perfect getaway!

I booked Costa Lanta after looking at many different options mostly because of the unique architecture and close proximity to town. Truly, from the moment I arrived I was absolutely thrilled with my choice. This is not a big resort with loud music and kids running everywhere but rather a tranquil piece of paradise at the end of a beautiful beach. The service is perfect, the food excellent and of all the massages I had in Thailand, the one I received here with the Thai herbal compress was the best ever. I can't believe the good fortune I had in choosing this place for a quiet getaway with a friend because it could not have been any better.

Absolutely fantastic boutique resort!! We spent two weeks in Thailand and this was our favorite resort and location. The private beach is absolutely huge and breath taking. The sunsets were marvelous and the hotel staff service was top class. The private buildings are very modern and well maintained. The outdoor shower is perfect given the climate on the island. The food at the hotel was outstanding as well. The infinity pool is huge and was perfect! We spent most of our days relaxing by the beach and would alternate between taking a dip in the pool or going in the ocean. We really truly enjoyed our stay here. The only area for improvement is the bedroom mattress could be a bit more softer. It was a bit of a hard mattress. I would still definitely go back to this hotel, just an item to improve.

I have always wanted to stay at Costa Lanta due to the unique architecture. However, it was unfortunately low season, thus the weather thwarted most of our plans and generally the island is on shut down. The staff at Costa Lanta were very pleasant, helpful and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I am keen to try it again in better weather so I can open all the walls! Not to self and others, October is not a good time for Koh Lanta.
