Phunacome Resort

The location of this resort is convenient to the main road and other restaurants and fairly quiet. The room was large and clean but without any comfortable seating other than the bed. It does have a nice small balcony which we enjoyed.

Breakfasts and dinners are served at their convenience not yours. You have to tell them exactly what time they can expect you and then when you arrive, the food has been pre-cooked and you are expected to heat it up in a micro wave or ask them to reheat it. We did insist that they cook our eggs to order, really, how difficult is that? I am on vacation. I do not want to have to decide the night before when I will have to get up for breakfast! Their laundry prices were out of line for Thailand. We found a self serve laundromat and did it ourselves. The pool was drained.

It was very peaceful

The phone numbers on booking.com were not answered when trying to contact them. We were late for arrival and needed to contact them. The number was an office in Bangkok not the resort in Dan Sai. The local number needs to be available. This is not the resorts fault but booking.coms fault

The staff is very nice. The room is clean. The pictures matches to the reality. The bathtub was functional and it was possible to take baths. Decent breakfast.

The hotel was almost empty and therefore quiet but the only guests were in the room next to us so we could hear all the noises and murmurs: too bad we were not placed in distant rooms.

Staff always makes the difference. They were fantastic

It seems off season, very quiet. I like to see other guests
