"One of our best stays in India, let alone Pondicherry!"

Dune is an exceptional place to stay. A truly peaceful and relaxing setting with a real flavour of Indian hospitality. Set against a deserted beach but for the fishing bots, in tropical grounds, there are two beautiful pools. Restaurant serves excellent food- we ate there all 4 days of our stay. Treatments are wonderful and reasonably priced. Staying in bungalows furnished with traditional furnishings and huge beds is a refreshing change. If you’re looking for a flashy 5 star international hotel, it’s not for you - but if you’re looking want to relax and enjoy a real Indian welcome from outstanding staff, Dune is waiting for you! Don’t miss it.

Sea was too rough to swim when we stayed but the pools are a worthy replacement. Little way out of Pondi (about 20 mins) but taxis are cheap if you want to go out - we didn’t!
