Hampton Inn Jackson/Flowood - Airport Area MS

September 2025 have previously actually stayed at this Hampton Inn and enjoyed it and the home 2 next door . Both properties are convenient and close to family so it’s easy to visit and have a place to also escape. This time I was extremely frustrated by the ongoing construction project that was not noted on the hotels website or on the main Hilton website. Breakfast is still available, but it is smaller and reduced with some options typically afforded by Hampton not being available. Was helping a family member with relocation so I was looking forward to using the heated pool for a recovery. This too is out of service. Remodel on the room was completed however, some fixtures not installed properly or correctly before room was put back in the service. Staff is friendly rooms are still clean but paying full price for half of a hotel does rub me the wrong way.

The property is in a very nice location. Close to shopping and dining. There is a Walmart less than 5 miles down the road. There is a target and a Kroger directly in front of the hotel. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. These beds are probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds you are going to find for this price point. Heated mirrors in the bathroom. Overall a wonderful property.

The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the renovations taking place because the floor was quite uneven and I have a broken foot and am in a walking boot and found walking on the main floor difficult due to the roughness of the floor. Once the renovations are completed it will be beautiful and there will be nothing I do not like.

Lobby construction made the lobby a mess and almost couldn't get to the elevators.

The hotel was under intense construction while we were there. We were not told of the construction before we booked the hotel so when we got there, it was a surprise. However, they worked hard to accommodate, and we’re all very very kind. I’m sure the hotel will be beautiful once the construction is done.

I had to check out around 4:45 am and there was nobody at the desk. I used the hotel contact number to call hoping somebody would come to the desk. An employee did come to the desk while the phone was ringing.

On a roadtrip, only stayed one night. Staff was very welcoming and polite. The area is super convenient gas stations, shops and food. The breakfast choices were excellent. They are remodeling but no one was working while we were there. We would definitely visit again.
