Possibly the worst hotel me or my husband have ever stayed at. Hotel does not look anything like the promotional photos shown. We had a triple room for us and our three year old, which was run down, dirty with stained carpets and dark. It was also right beside an area where people went outside to smoke which you could smell in the room. When we arrived the heating/radiators didn't work. I reported to reception and they didn't check the room or offer another room, we were given a small portable heater that took several hours to heat the room. We also heard other guests complaining of the same issue. We decided to dine in the restaurant and were disappointed by the quality of the food which was greasy, stale and overpriced in my opinion. The staff were also very cold and barely interacted with us. On our second night there were two wedding parties on, and at 12.30am the fire alarm went off. We evaucated to the car park as soon as the alarm sounded but somehow the fire engines were already there - very suspicious. Whilst I understand the fire alarm was outside the hotel's control, the response to it was diabolical - we had a young child shivering in the car park for 45 mins and not one staff member spoke to us, even to just confirm we were safely outside. Eventually we were allowed back into our room no one ever engaged with us, apologised for the inconvenience or offered any explanation. On check out the lady at the desk didn't even ask how my stay was, she just took my key and said "that's you checked out now" and continued to talk to her colleague. I don't normally leave reviews but I urge anyone not to waste their money and time on this hotel, very disappointing.

The location of the hotel was the only thing that suited our needs. I was very disappointed by the experience and facility, it did not meet match the expectations set by Booking.com photos and description.

The hotel was very run down and dirty compared to the photos shown here. The heating was broken in our room and we were not offered any help aside from a small portable heater. The carpet was stained and dirty. The food was stale and greasy. There was even a fire alarm in the middle of the night and no explanation or interaction from staff despite standing outside for 45 mins in the cold with our three year old. Extremely disappointing.

Shower in the room was broken. Radiator very noisy . There was a wedding party at the hotel that were very loud . A fire alarm went off twice in the night. (False alarms) No one on reception, had to call a number to find out what was happening . Not ideal in the event of a real fire. There were no visible staff to check on us, we waited over an hour in the corridor by our nearest exit. Indifferent staff next morning said we should have been at the front of the hotel and we didn’t take time to read evacuation details on the back of our door .
