Castaway Resort

Great location. Furniture was a little dated but spent most of our time outside on the balcony anyway. Shower was a little chilly at first but rectified when we let them know. Solar hot water with cloudy days always needs a boost. Very helpful staff.

Beachfront location with amazing sunsets. The food at the restaurant was excellent; the fish curry particularly exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The invasions (yes plural) of nasty wasps into my room. I literally couldn’t sit out on my deck the entire time because there were so many wasps flying around. To be fair the staff did make an effort to try and identify a nest / source but to no avail. I also didn’t like having to park my rental car on the road; I.e there is very little parking on site at the resort.

It was near the beach. The staff were very nice

It was very loud near the pool and you could hear everything and everybody come and go. The restaurant food wasn’t very nice. There wasn’t Tv or wifi only for purchase. The beach wasn’t very nice. It really needed some work. Most restaurants are 1 km walk.
