Ramada Hervey Bay

The hotel was within walking distance from the Boat Club, which served an adequate evening meal. Although the bar area could be noisy ,once in your room you couldn't hear any noise. The bed was very comfortable. Exceptional pool area. Included breakfast was adequate.

I like that the staff were friendly and polite. The pool is beautiful.

The food isnt great, ordered a pizza and it tasted like a frozen cardboard box pizza. I didnt like the shower, the shower head was gunked up and was struggling to pour the pressure through, the water kind of dribbled down and the hose wasnt long enough, so I had to take the shower head off and run it over my chest to dribble down and wash my legs, very annoying. There was a dirty bandaid on the top of the shower rail. The curtains didnt keep the light out on the very edges and I got woken up in the morning to sunlight. Some of the light switches in the room were broken. I also dont like that the mini bar isnt stocked.

The room was comfortable and clean. Good location near the marina.

Restaurant was shut due to renovations, as was the fitness centre. The smaller bar was serving up tapas style meals which were ok but overpriced. The continental breakfast was very light on choices compared to other hotels we stayed at. Overall it was disappointing to find the hotel has reduced its services for renovations but still charging full rates.I would expect better from a hotel in the Ramada by Wyndham group.

Position

When I filled the spa up and turned it on, lots of black stuff came out of it. Needs a clean 1 tiny bar of soap also wasnt enough. Breakfast take out was already pre made so didn't have any. Used to have it cooked for you. I think they could do a bit better with the restaurant.

The whole facility was great. Maybe the parking was light on though.

Nice big rooms , wonderful pool area close to the ocean , friendly staff nice breakfast would return
