"Great Location and Friendly Staff, But the Hotel Needs Updating"

This hotel looks like a good option when booking. In fact I have booked it and stayed here multiple times. It has an excellent location with quick access to airport and cruise port. The staff has also always been friendly and great during my stay here, which is hard to find these days. That said, after staying here multiple times, this will probably be my last visit. The biggest issue is sleep quality. Every single time I stay here, I end up getting maybe a few hours of sleep because the rooms aren’t setup for a good nights of sleep. The AC units just don’t regulate the room temperature well at all, especially with the Florida heat and humidity. The room either feels to warm of the unit constantly cycles on and off. The pillows and bed just rent very comfortable, which also doesn’t help. Overall, the property is starting to feel dated and could really use a full refresh. Replacing the old window AC units with a proper central AC system would make a huge difference.

Location. Comfortable beds.

No hot water. Explained many times to front desk. Told to turn opposite way for hot water and let it run. We turned it both directions and let it run for awhile. Finally gave up and took a cold shower. Left the water running for my husband and it never got even luke warm. He also had to take a cold shower. When we checked out, I mentioned it again to the front desk. She replied and said the same thing. Don't you think I would run the water for awhile and also test both ways to see if the water got warmer. Jeez. A simple I'm sorry would have been nice.
