Green Park Hotel

Walking distance to all tourist spots and large shopping centre close. Good breakfast and WIFI, friendly staff. The hotel was fairly new and in good condition

We arrived early in the morning and paying half day price got the room right away. We had superior room which was good in size, cosy and very clean like were all the premises in the hotel. The air-conditioning was working well which was good cause outside temperature was almost 40 degrees. Wi-Fi worked well. The service in whole hotel was excellent, friendly and heplful. At the terrace it was nice to have breakfast. The location was very good. To go to Vainer pedestrian street was very easy, just walk between the sports field and just opened Datsyuk Arena, about 200 meters and you'll be there.

Everything was fantastic. Hotel is very clean and located in the city centre. Breakfast was good and a choice of dishes included eggs, different hot food, good quality tea, coffee, fruits and yoghurt. Bathroom was spacious with big shower cabin. The service was excellent, we asked for scissors and got them in one minute time.

I stayed at the Green Park Hotel for 7 nights last month, it was a wonderful experience. I booked directly online with the hotel. I received prompt confirmation and courteous replies to all my questions and concerns. The hotel offered visa assistance and arranged for transfer from the airport. I arrived very early in the morning, so I was charged half days board, which also included breakfast. I was happy to have this option, it allowed me to unpack, shower and change before enjoying the hotel's buffet breakfast and setting out to explore the neighbourhood. My room was very nicely furnished with a comfortable bed, TV, desk and chair, mini fridge, and nice bathroom. There is a large shopping center near the hotel, where you can stock up on bottled water, soft drinks, beer and snacks to keep in your fridge. My room offered a wonderful view of the Novo-Tikhvinsky Convent and St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (I highly recommend a visit!). Such a delight to wake up to each morning. The buffet breakfast offered a nice assortment of hot and cold dishes. The coffee machine allows you to select from half a dozen different types of coffee - a nice touch! The hotel is near the city center, and only a 5-minute walk to the nearest Metro station. Ekaterinburg is a very nice city, it is clean, and uncongested (unlike Moscow and St. Petersburg). It is very simple to navigate (ask for a map at the front desk). The city is modern and booming, it offers some wonderful museums, and a splendid opera house. I have to say that this hotel was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Ekaterinburg.

This hotel is situated just outside the city centre. Although the area isn't as nice as the centre, the hotel makes up for it. The rooms are clean, of a good size and contain all the mod cons. It is a short 15 minute walk through the park to get to the centre with plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants, or a supermarket within 5 mins. The free breakfast is a good touch! The hotel really excels in it's service, with staff that are friendly and helpful. They are happy to organise any transfers you need within the city, and make an effort to make you comfortable. I would return on a future visit to Yekaterinburg!

Our short stay in the hotel has been lovely. Over all the hotel is clean and tidy and provides the key essentials. It is also in a good location with a short walk to the main shopping area. As mentioned in a previous comment the complementary water bottles do not get replaced, however on our floor there was a water dispenser just outside the lift and I presume it would be the same on other floors. So if you have a water bottle you may refill it there? During our stay at the hotel we received a lot of help from the reception desk with booking taxis etc. This was just what we needed and the staff were very happy to help. On the whole, I would most likely stay here again if visiting Ekaterinburg.

Having been living in Sweden and working in Europe, I honestly didn't expect to get such a European standard service in my home city in Russia. The hotel is spacious, but yet cozy and staff is polite and helpful. The rooms have all the facilities needed (air conditioner, hair drier, set of toiletries, TV, free wifi). There is a possibility to order food delivery right to your room. The hotel has swimming pool and sauna, but one has to pay separately to get in there. Breakfast included into the room price is very generous, and maybe the only thing I would recommend to the hotel staff is to set a light music in the breakfast room instead of having boring TV programmes running on the background. I bet background music will be well accepted by both Russians and foreigners. If you are staying in this hotel and don't have time to eat out, you will most probably like the business lunches that are served in the hotel. The lunch menu is not expensive and gives you small portions of salad, soup, second warm dish, tea/coffee and dessert. In the surroundings of the hotel there is a park where you can have a walk, and there is a big shopping mall Grinvich in 5-10 min walk from the hotel. The only thing that we noted was the fact that there were no supermarkets close by, so we had to walk to the supermarket in Grinvich or to a small shop behind the park in order to by whatever we needed. For those who got used to drink tap water in their countries, do not drink tap water in Yekaterinburg. Better buy bottled water. The hotel provided us with 2 small bottles of water at our first day there, but we didn't get any water in our room after that. This is a small thing, but after staying in many different hotels in Europe, I see it as a norm to have a bottle of water in my room every day, not just at the first day of my stay. Probably this is something the hotel could improve in the future. Overall I'm quite happy about our stay in Green Park Hotel and I will be curious to stay there in the future and see how it will develop!

Hotel in modern building next to outdoor ice hockey rink, close to metro station and big shopping mall. Nice big room and relaxing quiet atmosphere even though hotel was hosting a wedding while I was there. It's a couple of streets away from the central sightseeing area but very close to metro, which goes to rail station. My room was unusually quite cool for a Russian hotel (temperatures a few degrees below zero C outside), with one small radiator, but could warm it up with the air conditioning system. Breakfast had fresh pancakes, nice eggs, simple but not greasy.
