Inn at the Old Silk Mill

Se cercate un posto old style, vintage della vecchia America, questo è il posto giusto. Abbiamo avuto un problema con la prenotazione (Booking non aveva comunicato il terzo letto) e il personale ha risolto il problema con rapidità. Letti comodi.

La colazione è solo dolce, niente di salato, prodotti confezionati, buono invece la presenza di frutta fresca. La vasca da bagno con doppia tendina. Le finestre rotte che non stanno aperte.

Staff were always friendly. There is ample free parking for hotel guests. This would, normally, give the venue a much higher score, but the negatives massively outweighed this.

The curtains didn't close so the room was very light when trying to sleep. No toilet seat. Our last night was horrific. We did not sleep at all. Our room was the first after the stairs and there was a wedding. Guests were running up and down corridors, shouting at each other, we did not sleep. It was awful. There seemed to be no attempt to keep these guests quiet in the building for other guests, even though the wedding venue itself is in another building. This was our fourth visit and, sadly, is likely to be our last. It ruined our stay. And unusual decision, maybe, to put guests not attending the wedding right at the start of the corridor.

I loved the decor with all of the antiques!

Historic hotel in the middle of Fredericksburg - the staff was very friendly and accommodations were very historic.

Because it's so old, there's no sound insulation and bed was comfy but creaky. There was a wedding that weekend, so there were lots of folks loudly going down the halls, and the sound carries like crazy there. Everything else was great!

Great boutique hotel. Quaint decor. Excellent front desk staff! Pleasant continental breakfast.

Showers take while to warm up but staff let you know so you just plan around it. No real issue.
