Outstanding location and beautiful historical buildings

Stunning compound built on Roman architectural remains from the 1st century which later became stately homes belonging to noble families in Cordoba. The grounds are themselves worth exploring especially at night. This review is for the private terrace room (very large) overlooking the courtyard and pool. Very private yet spacious with two loungers, table and large umbrella. - Room was beautiful with high cathedral ceilings, beams and tiling. - Comfortable king bed. Very little noise. - Pool area was nice. - Ample closet space; TV placed high into the rafters which was odd but no matter, you're not there to watch TV. - Shutter-style windows that open into courtyard overlooking red tile roofing and pool. - Bathroom was double-vanity and a bit small, and shower was just too small - enough to turn around and I'm not a large person. - Staff was friendly and courteous. - Honor bar in one of the courtyards in the evening was perfect. - Breakfast was ordinary: standard fare of eggs, bacon, fruit and bread you see at every hotel.

Fantastic property with pool, close to mezquita, right smack in the Old Jewish Quarter. There are restaurants steps away. Complimentary drinks in fridge are a rarity and the breakfast was diverse with items and tastes for all. Pool was over an old ancient bath used by the people who reigned here. It’s literally an archaeological site within the property. Highly recommend

If we could give another 5 stars, we would!! We stayed for 5 nights & this place is an absolute aesthetic gem; classy, understated, sophisticated and historical. Simply gorgeous and great value unquestionably. The service was excellent and all of the staff were kind, generous and genuine, going above and beyond. What a find! This hotel was one of the finest I stayed in during my 3 week trek across Spain. I met a couple that goes to Andalusia yearly and they asked how I found it?!? Its their choice hotel in Cordoba!

Fantastic

Staying in the beating heart of Cordoba could not have been more comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely kind, the room large with a very comfortable king size bed, fantastic pillows and lovely view on the pedestrian street. The bath with hydromassage was perfect to relax and the pool a welcoming facility to cool down by during the hot hours of the day. The breakfast is generous and the history of the building simply fascinating. I can only very early recommend this hotel.
