Auberge de La Fontaine

Right on the park location. We had a brand new room.

Nothing at all.

Le déjeuner était tout à fait correct. Une vue sur le parc, ce n'est donc pas désagréable.

Dommage que le dernier jour, il a fallu se plaindre, car le lit était fait, mais rien de plus. Pas nettoyé à terre, pas de serviettes dans la salle de bains et poubelles non vidées ! Personne ne nous a dit qu'il y avait un bus qui passait tout près de la pour aller prendre le métro, il faut donc le temps de s'en rendre compte...

Our room was recently renovated and everything about it from the smell, bedding, shower was refreshing and beautiful. We only chose this hotel as there was a mix up on our previous one. The staff are lovely and location across from one of the most beautiful parks in Montreal was perfect and central. The plateau area offers choice and a sense of community!

Everything was perfect, nothing not to like!

We stayed at Auberge de la Fontaine many times over the course of the last 15 years and our family has wonderful memories from it. The rooms are nice and clean and that hasn't changed. The location is perfect and it is one of the reason we keep coming back to it. The eggs were real and cooked from scratch as they should be. I went to hotels in Toronto where the eggs came from a plastic bag. I hope they continue to serve real food.

The price of the room has gone up significantly, yet, the breakfast that used to be included, is now paid separately. For $18, there was an OK selection, however at 9:30 when our family went for breakfast, they had ran out of scrambled eggs. The receptionist raised his shoulders and said that they had run out without apologizing or trying to say something nice. Breakfast was served from 7:00 to 10:00.

Direkt gegenüber liegt ein Park, der sehr schön ist. Das Bett war wirklich sehr bequem und das ganze Personal sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit. Zum Frühstücken waren wir nicht im Hotel.

Wir hatten unser Zimmer im Erdgeschhoß. Daher hörte man morgen ab 6 Uhr immer das Personal, welches für das Frühstück richtete, das es ab 7 Uhr im Hotel gab.
