Balbi is very grand and beautiful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were plentiful and varied.

"Peaceful stay in a beautiful location, grand surroundings with friendly helpful staff."

Our room was lovely, quirky (a door leading up some stairs to a roof-balcony!) and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location was amazing, right on the seafront and in the middle of the town. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Delicious cakes!

Villa Balbi is very grand and it therefore seemed a shame that some of the decor needed love and attention. There were plastic 'glasses' in the bathroom which seemed at odds with the beautiful 'feel' of the hotel.

"Peaceful and Picturesque"

Amazing location, September was particularly a peaceful and relaxing time to travel as there were not many tourists (compared to other towns we visited in Italy in September). The hotel was amazing and service was great. Complimentary breakfast was a big bonus too. Great view of the riviera from the room as well.
