Étape très agréable. Belle situation dans un village de caractère. Personnel attentionné. Excellent confort. Un établissement dont la note Booking ne reflète pas la valeur.

Pude hacer el checking cuando llegué a las 13’00 h, la amabilidad y efectividad del personal era excepcional, el desayuno genial, etc

No es que no me gustara, pero como la mayoría de los paradores que conozco, necesitan una renovación y también me decepcionó un poco la piscina interior, ya que yo pensaba que era climatizada

Good location in charming village, good parking lot, nice lounge

The management of this place needs to be replaced: 1. The receptionist at the front desk did not give us the WIFI codes, even though she had a full stack of papers with the codes next to her, as we discovered afterwards. She handed us an invoice with a lot of explanations, the codes could have been on there. 2. The breakfast experience was a disaster. For whatever reason only one person was in the room to welcome guests and bring them to the table, bring coffee, take the orders for warm plates, clean the tables. Needless to say we had to wait a long time to be seated. Only when I asked the waiter if I could have eggs did he point to a menu on the table, adding that he would come back to take the order. In fact he did not come back, we had to call him back, as he preferred cleaning out tables than attending to his guests. The coffee cans were tiny for two, the coffee was much too strong. You could get your coffee at a coffee machine, that was completely different from usual ones, with a difficult to understand explanation, and when you had your coffee there was no milk at the counter. A French lady struggling with the same machine was very disappointed with the service at the Parador, which is normally the reason you choose that type of hotel. I could not agree more. 3. Our room was on the third floor. The curtains let the light come through which is not very helpful for sleep. The room must have been single room where they shoved in two beds on wheels. No way you could read leaning against the back wall, the beds would move. Two reading lamps were placed in a very awkward position preventing you also from reading in a seated position. Mine worked half and half. The fastening was not complete, it looked like a DIY job. 4. When leaving the hotel and our payment had to be processed a few times, the receptionist sighed and implied things would be better after a major renovation. It really felt like the hole management needed one too.
