I love the Paradors, they’re so grand in history and atmosphere. The restaurant was excellent, with great service. The wild boar in chocolate was outstanding.

Warning! Prison windows that can't be opened! Now, 50 % of the reason guests choose Paradores are the often magnificent VIEWS from the rooms. Since the hotels are often rebuilt monasteries or castles built a bit above town you can sip your coffee looking down on the cute village. But when you book a Superior Room with balcony on Parador de Trujillo, you get - this. So skip this scam if you're claustrophobiv.
