"A Parador with everything, except a pool!"

This hotel is ideally located just outside Cuenca old town, with stunning views of the gorge and hanging houses, and just 10 minutes walk away from the Cathedral, main square and a range of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is a happy fusion of ancient and modern - it has preserved the medieval architecture and atmospherics of the former Convent of San Pablo while introducing all the essential contemporary comforts and amenities. Our Superior room was spacious, light, spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. It had a large window-seat with breathtaking views of San Pablo bridge and the hanging houses. The hotel staff are friendly, polite, attentive and efficient, though never intrusive. We had dinner in the hotel's impressive refectory where the food was as superb as the service. Overall, we had a memorable stay in an excellent hotel.

Our only disappointment was that the outdoor pool was closed and so there was no alfresco area where we could relax and sunbathe. Apparently, whatever the weather, summer does not begin until early June in Spain!

LO YA VALORADO. PARA COMPENSAR LOS PROBLEMAS DE ACCESO CON COCHE, NOS DIERON UNA HABITACIÓN MEJOR. GRAN DETALLE.

El Parador está muy mal señalizado en la ciudad para acceder con coche. El navegador no acepta la dirección oficial del Parador (Subida a San Pablo, s/n). Tuvimos que dar un rodeo largo y peligroso por el borde de la hoz para lograr acceder.

Melhor localização impossível. Hotel antigo, porém com um charme exclusivo, interior do prédio lindo. Café da manhã bastante variado, me chamou atenção a disponibilidade de itens para pessoas com restrições alimentares, como celíacos, como nunca vi em nenhum outro hotel.

Nada. Nos atendeu perfeitamente.
