"The highlight of our trip to Spain"

We just loved staying in the castle, the highlight of our trip to Spain. Room beautiful, view amazing but best of all the castle spectacular! The dining room with arches amazing. We were allowed to explore all over this very historic place.

Nothing but might be a bit hard for folks not liking heights or stairs. Best explored by the hardy, but why we loved it

"When in Spain, Stay in a Castle!"

Being able to stay in this ancient castle made renting a car in Spain worthwhile. We stayed in two different Paradores during our recent trip. Both were spectacular! The location of Parador de Cardona is amazing, and the restaurant is very good! We bought Half Boards for both Paradores, and we enjoyed them both!

"Bijzondere overnachting"

Bijzondere accomodatie in kasteel. Ontbijt was goed, maar daar betaal je ook voor.

Dat er in de bar ook tussen 16.00 en 20.00 uur geen hapje te verkrijgen is.

"Location high, stay low."

When you arrive at a parador after a hot and sweaty day, you expect a cold welcome drink, but...nope. At your room some cold water , nope. What a disillusion. Only the location could satisfy me. Room and bathroom are not at last modern standards and need some upgrade. Dinner and also breakfast was far under good standard. For me, no stay again or recommendation for this parador hotel., point.
