Pantheon City Hotel

Modern looking facade but slightly outdated inside. Staff were great, giving useful local advice. Very friendly.

Hotel was on the main harbour road, but we were on third floor and it wasn't noisy. We stayed in a small double bed room with separate en-suite and an excellent large balcony area looking over the harbour. The bathroom was dated, the rest of the room more modern. There was no safe in the room, but any valuables were kept in large safe behind reception. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical continental style buffet, variety of food was a bit limited.

This hotel is located on the waterfront in Gythio. Each of the rooms on the bay side look like they have baloneys. My room was on the 3rd floor and was very spacious with a large balcony and great views. The room had AC/heat, flatscreen TV and Wifi worked well.

Central position with walking access to all amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from the balcony of the bay.

This hotel,was clean comfortable beds, air conditioning worked, quiet room on the 4th floor. Great views and large balcony. It is located right in the middle of the towns boardwalk harbour area. Near all restaurants and shops. Note that there is no hotel parking but we had no issues with finding parking on the street. May be an issue in high season.

We stopped in Yithio for one night in August on the way to see the Diro Caves (a must if you are in this area)...it was a pleasant stop over with plenty of restaurants available down the harbour side. The hotel was on the Main Street through the town (but the noise was not noticeable from the room) and we had a balcony (recommended) with a beautiful view overlooking the water. My only bug bear is that prior to travelling I had booked two nights by mistake...when I called the hotel to cancel one I was told two nights minimum and as availability for hotels in the area was difficult (we had left it late) I had no choice but to book two nights. On departure the reception staff were confused as to why I had been told this but it was too late to be refunded.

Stayed here again after an absence of 6 years. Hotel was beautiful, staff so friendly and helpful. Facilities had been updated and rooms were pristine, beautifully clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked really well, showers clean and plenty of hot water on tap. We stayed with our young family who felt very relaxed and comfortable here. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the beautiful town of Gythio and the surrounding area.

Second time staying here excellent staff

The hotel location in # 1, and we have no complaints except the very poor wifi service. Why hotels cut corners on this service is not clear, especially when the cost is minimal.

Happy to recommend this hotel - great location on the waterfront, beautiful balcony views, bed good and friendly helpful staff. Good value for money.
