Nissia Kamares Hotel Apartments

The hotel was Good for its price. Nice rooms, greek style. All in all i Would recommend IT.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our room was amazing with a private patio and a mesmerising fragrant fig tree towering over. Baby friendly facility with sincere and devoted attention. Make sure to meet Tricky, possibly the sweetest receptionist you would ever find around the world.

Not much to add that others haven't done already. Suffice to say that if you intend going to Kardemena you MUST stay at this hotel. Taz the barman is the best. So very helpful, friendly and makes lovely drinks. Ask for his special cocktail, its not on the list but one leads to another...... Natalie makes wonderful fresh food,all cooked from scratch and well worth the wait. And the BBQ night is well worth the money, lots of fresh salad, pitta bread, tzatsiki and fresh kebabs. The hotel itself is beautiful, the gardens and rooms are well looked after. Beautiful plants and trees adorn the two courtyards and the bedrooms are clean and fresh. Some of our group said the aircon could have been stronger but others said they had to turn theirs down so I think it depends on where your room is in relation to the sun. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. It is definitely worthy of more than two stars!

We only stayed here for one night on our way to Kos Town but we loved the layout and styling of this accommodation. We had a good nights sleep, the kitchen had a toaster and good selection of kitchenware and the bathroom was fabulous with both a rain shower head and a paddle shower head. Lunch by the pool was great and there were plenty of sun loungers available on the day that we spent there. Staff were also very friendly and the location is good for the main centre and beach.

The Hotel lived up to all our expectations. The internet pictures don't do it justice. Simple, comfortable, clean, good location, just perfect. The staff where all brilliant, from reception to the bar to the owner. A special mention to Costa for the fabulous advise on restaurants, bars and beaches for our short 3 day stay. Next time we're in Kos we'll stay again.

good location very friendly staff and a nice clean room

I stayed at the Special Apartment and it looked small to start with for 5 of us but the balcony is so huge it adds another room. And everything in the room is so pretty... even a teatowel was very, very clean and lovely. I just kept taking picture of the things in the room! Only bad side was the air con is in the living room with 2 beds and while that room is freezing cold, the bed room with 3 beds are really hot even the door was open. The bedroom really needs another air con.

Stayed in May - very quiet neighbourhood, no disturbances at night. Flowers and trees, birds ,quiet pool all very pleasant for overnight stop or longer. Mix of natioalities in the hotel. The odd mossy but there was a mosquito repellant attatchment in the room. Also kettle fridge and hairdryer. If you want to spend any time in the room at all the rooms upstairs might be lighter.

The hotel is fantastic. Typical of Greek accomodation quite spartan but the deal we got included air con and a safe. We were upgraded to a 1 bed apartment as it was early in the season. The hotel staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They cannot do enough for you. Shame that Kardamena itself has seen better days and seemed run down and reflecting all that is affecting the Greek economy. Didn't let this ruin a great break made better by the standard of service delivered by the Nissia Kamares. Thanks.
