Hotel Tschuggen

Location is perfect! The employees were amazing, they did their best to accommodate us, loved the outdoor part where you can just watch the mountains. I would come back here again and bring my family.

If you’re noise sensitive, bring earplugs. You can hear the people outside, if your room is facing the streets and you can hear your neighbors if they’re speaking. Loudly. But all that, were tolerable for me.

Very central and great location. Easy to find and only 10 minute walk with luggage from train station.

Room was hot and didn’t have a fan. Reception told us they had some available when we checked out but didn’t offer any when we first arrived. Because it is very central to the middle of town it was noisy at night.

Breakfast is very 👍 The hostess is very kind Good location for vocation & relax

Clearest views of Eiger and Mönch from the backyard. Room was clean and spacious enough. Only disadvantage is that there is no lift. Breakfast spread was good, although I would have preferred to have options for chicken as well. Location is close enough to Grindelwald station. Nearest bus stops take you to Grindelwald Terminal. Grindelwald First is about 10 minutes walking from the hotel.

For a 2 stars hotel, it is very good to be clean and with breakfast. Also nice Eiger view from balcony.

They waste food for breakfast. They bring a basket of bread and some cheese and jam to our table. But it is a waste when a lot of us didn’t able to finish. One day i was there late so i couldn’t finish fast enough and asked to bring a croissant with me but she said no. I didn’t mean to greedy but just eating while on my way. And i dont like to waste food.
