Hotel Post Hardermannli

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. The room and the bathroom were both small. There was no air conditioning as with most hotels in Switzerland, and the window only opened a little, so while the night cooled down it was still quite uncomfortable for sleeping. The key system was also a concern because you have to leave your room key on a board and take an entrance key when leaving the hotel. The keys are easily accessible to anyone. They do not have an elevator so we had to take our bags up several flights of stairs. The breakfast was delicious with local favorites such as meats, cheeeses, breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, and fresh, prepared to order eggs. They advertise free parking, but the only free parking is six public spaces in front of the hotel which were always filled. Therefore, we had to park on the street or in a parking garage down the street.

It's a very clean hotel. Great breakfast. Check in and out process are very fast and easy. But with no AC in the room, it can get hot in the summer time. Also their curtain doesn't block the light. Close to Interlaken west train station and many bus stops.

The sound proofing is really bad between rooms. You can hear neighbors’s small talk, like you are in the same room. Between 12am-1am, the upper stairs neighbors kept walking. At 5am, the next door neighbors start to make phone calls. It was a horrible experience. I never write a review for hotels but I have to say something this time. BTW, you are allowed to have only ONE egg during breakfast. Half door to the porch is almost falling. Luckily no one got hurt because the curtain hold it temporally.

Quiet hotel away from the frantic tourist areas but only a couple of minutes from Interlaken West railway station. Stayed in a Superior Double which was a very good size with an excellent balcony with views of the mountains, though the bathroom was rather "compact". Well equipped with plenty of seating and an electric kettle. No problems with the WiFi. Good continental breakfast with a choice of fried, scrambled or boiled eggs. Staff and service were generally excellent. Pleasant, separately run, Italian restaurant in the same building.

This is a small hotel on a quiet street. It’s a beautiful property The restaurant and breakfast were excellent. No elevator (only a issue when you have luggage) and no air conditioning were the only downsides. Every thing else was great. Run by a very nice lady.

Great hotel. Great location. A little dated in the room but that didn't bother us at all...everything was functional and great. Breakfast is the best we had on our trip. No complaints.

The dude at the reception desk acted like he hated every visitor. Apparently, we interrupted him watching TV. If you happened to book a room with a view, be ready to climb three storiesQ with your luggage as the place doesn’t have an elevator. Breakfast sucks.

This is an updated hotel and the bathrooms/bedrooms are very clean and modern.

Lovely place quite close to they centre of town, and walking distance to all the places to see. Friendly staff, great restaurant onsite and a pleasing breakfast.
