Hotel Sabrina

The people are amazing, and very accommodating. I am staying here for a year while I'm in school, and it has become my home. I would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms are very spacious, and has everything you need. There is also wifi, and a television is every room.

Friendly warm and genuine staff. Really nice room for a very good price. Clean and light room, comfy bed. Couldn't ask for more really for the price. Thankyou for a lovely stay, made our time in this fairytale town of Cortona. Will never forget it

Stopped in Sabrina three times. The hotel has a great location. Everywhere clean and neat. They clean room every day. Separately want to note very friendly staff. Sergio and Irina help you if you have problems or questions, can advise that show or taste of food. They speak English, Italian, Russian and French. Cortona not near the train station and they can you meet if you ask.

We've just spend some night here and everything was really fine. Room with a nice forniture and a very nice location inside walls, near parking and center. To be perfect, air conditioning in a very warm summer !

Yes it's a bit noisy; yes it's a little bit tired. But at the price, it's a great spot right in the heart of Cortona with all the restaurants nearby, and free parking just 100m from the hotel. The staff are friendly; our room was spacious, albeit basic; and after paying horror prices for everything in Switzerland, we enjoyed the value for money that this place offers.

The Hotel Sabrina was just what we wanted. Close to the center of town, a window facing the street (to watch activity below), and an easy walk to nearby cappuccinos & gelato. Sergio is a wonderful host. Compared with other reviews, we're okay walking stairs to our room (bring on the exercise after that delizioso pizza!), we didn't want a fancy breakfast at the hotel (we prefer to be out at the cafes and ristorantes), and we appreciate "real life" happening around us (i.e. local residents have the same walls and streets... when in Roma, I mean, Cortona...). Overall, we were happy with our stay and look forward to going back!

Although the view from our room offered only some patches of roofs, we had a pleasant stay. Big, comfortable beds, rich breakfast in the morning. Nothing to complain about, having in mind that we were only for a night there. A few steps from the amusing bustle of Cortona, a stone's throw from all the intriguing walks.

Hotel internet connection didn't work. My prepaid SIM card worked only when I was holding the ipad outside of the window. In the morning I thought it was a strong wind playing with the external blinds of the window. Later I figured that was a noize of the cars, driving with high speed on paving stones early in the morning. All night I was trying not to fall into the hole between two mattrasses moved together - this is what we got in response to queen-size bed room. After using the toilette twice flush chain fell off. In addition there was: - mold in the bathroom, - dust on top of the furniture, - breakfast below the level of 3 stars hotel, - no place to put a hairdryer while using it (should I have used bidet for this purpose?), - no handshower, only non-adjustable showerhead.

Although this hotel is a bit tired it was clean and a good value, the location was perfect and is about one block from the main piazza in the lovely village of Cortona. Shopping, restaurants, pizzerias and a small grocery and fruit/veggie shop are all on the main square and the town hall is there as well - those of you who've seen Under the Tuscan Sun will recognize all of it. The breakfast is included in the price and was the usual European continental breakfast with cheeses, breads, cereal and pastries. The on duty office person carried our luggage up which was much appreciated as there is no lift. The views from the upper floor are spectacular but beware of rooms on the front - the street is right there and it's very noisy all nite. Beds were a bit hard if you're used to a soft bed. All in all a nice stay.

We stayed here one night and it was already too much. Our room was on the last floor - some five flights up, no elevator. It's inside the city walls, and there's no parking, so you have to leave the car in the public area and carry your suitcases yourself to the hotel. Room was spacious, with minimum furniture. Shower had two temperatures - burning hot and freezing cold. Breakfast was the worst we've ever had. The only positive was the location, but next day we left and found a great hotel also in a good location, where we could drive up to the entrance to unload our bags and then take the car to the parking area - of course it was more expensive, but Sabrina was already too expensive for what it offered! Don't recommend staying here.
